Finally, Spring Weather

Thanks to Colby we now have a new swing set for the kids. He and Talon spent 2 weekends working on it. I have enjoyed being able to send the kids outside to play. The swing set has a little something each child will enjoy. A rock wall for Addi because she loves to climb. A pine wood derby track for Talon Because he loves to race pine wood derby cars. And a swing for Jaxon. And of coarse a sand box for all of the kids.

Happy 5th Birthday Talon

Talon is now the big 5 years old. I can't believe how fast time goes by. For his birthday we rented the ice skating rink and he got to have some friends come with him. He absolutely loved it and wants to go ice skating again soon.

Addison on the other hand did not take to the whole ice skating thing.

Talon opening his gift from Grandma Renee and papa Joe. It was a Hot wheels carrying case and hot wheel cars. He loves Hot Wheels.

I didn't realize I bought Magic re lite candles it took us a minute to figure out why they kept relighting. Talon enjoyed being able to blow them out multiple times.

He's Crawling

Jaxon has been trying to crawl the last few weeks. I think he has it figured out. He can finally keep up with his brother and sister.

Jaxon is 9 months old and so close to crawling. He loves watching Talon and Addi play and I can tell he wants to run around with them so bad.

My sister in-law Chelsea took these pictures of Jaxon when we were in Utah in December. He looks so cute. I Love him so much I can't believe how fast he's growing.

Yea ! It's spring or maybe not

Talon and Addison were quick to go out and enjoy the warm weather we had all of the sudden one day. I thought to myself Yea! spring is coming. Little did I know a huge snow storm was on it's way.

At first Addison didn't understand why she could go outside without a coat and hat. That's when you know it's been cold for way to long.

About 4 days after this wonderful warm day the snow returned.

They really liked playing in the snow. It's when it's just cold with no snow the kids won't go outside. That's when they start to act like caged animals

So lucky for me and my sanity there was a few days the kids were able to enjoy playing outside.

Even our dog decided to emerge from her house in the garage to play with the kids.

Kitchen Painting

Well it was snowing this Saturday. So we decided to finally paint our kitchen. Here is the before picture. We let Talon and Addison take turns helping us paint the walls.

Talon got to start painting first. He thought that was pretty cool.

Ta Da the newly painted kitchen. I no longer have flat painted walls for the kids to get finger prints all over that won't wash off. In the kitchen anyway. Now if only we could do the rest of the house.

So I know I am due for an update on by blog. I haven't put any new pictures on my computer yet so those will come later. We had a great time visiting family in Utah over Christmas. We drove 24 hours in 2 days to get there with our 3 kids. They were so good considering how many hours they had to be in the car. We were in Utah for 3 weeks it went by so fast. We had a really fun Christmas we got to stay at my sister Julie's house on Christmas eve. Talon loved waking up on Christmas morning with his cousin Markell. We are home now and are starting to get back to our regular routine. The Schools here were cancelled last Friday due to the extremely cold weather so not fun. Me and the kids are so tired of being stuck in the house due to the 10 degree weather outside. Other than the cold life is good for us and we are so blessed. I'll have pictures soon.
