Da Bears!

We spent this past weekend in Chicago with our friend Tawny and Dusty. They traveled all the way from UT to see us (and the bears!). We had a ton of fun in Chicago. It is a great city, even in the winter. The food was great. If you're ever in Chicago go eat at Al's #1 Italian Beef. They have the best roast beef sandwiches. We stayed at the Hilton downtown, and it turns out that the Bears team stays at the same hotel before every home game. We got some autographs it was pretty cool. The highlight of the weekend was the game. The weather was decent, and we had great seats. The only problem was the Bears didn't win. Oh well, we had a great time, and plan to do it again. Hopefully soon!

Happy Halloween

The kids had tons of fun for Halloween. They were in there costumes two or three times during the week.

Addison had fun, but she wasn't feeling very good. She looked really cute dressed up as Sleeping Beauty.

Jaxon doesn't look like he is having fun here, but he really liked Halloween. Everyone thought he was so cute. He probably walked three or four blocks getting candy. He didn't want us to carry him. He would walk up to the door with the rest of the kids, and hold out his hand for candy. It was so funny.

Talon had a couple of ideas for costumes, but we finally decided on a Championship Boxer. He had a costume parade at his school. His teacher said he was the favorite of the 3rd thru 6th Graders.

The Columbus SQUIDS!!

Talon (#2) played soccer this fall, and had a lot of fun. His team won 4 of their 6 games. His team's name was the Squids, Talon thought that was kind of funny. It took Talon a couple games to learn how to play, but by the end of the season he had scored a bunch of goals. I think his favorite part was giving his teammates high fives.

Princess Addi's Birthday

My parents, niece, nephew, and sister came down for Addison's birthday we had a really good time. We went to a Castle in Loveland Ohio. That was really cool. We let Addison dress up as a princess since it was her birthday. She thought it was so fun dressing up and going to a real Princess castle.

Family

Colby's parents came to visit us in June. I am finally updating my blog with some pictures of there visit.

Moms time out

I had the opportunity to go to the Oakland CA. Temple for the first time with my friend Tawny and her family . Colby stayed home with Talon and Addison and my mom kept Jaxon with her in Utah while I went to CA. to spend some time with friends. I had so much fun and it was a break for me that was much needed. I was ready to come home by the end of the week though I really missed my family.
